Getting Started

Creating Your Account

  1. Download FamilyWise from the App Store or visit app.mimmiu.ca
  2. Tap "Sign Up" and enter your email address
  3. Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters)
  4. Verify your email address
  5. Start adding your children's profiles!

Adding Your First Child

  1. Tap the "+" button on the Kids screen
  2. Enter your child's name and birthdate
  3. Add any notes about their interests or needs
  4. Save the profile

Adding Activities

  1. Tap "Add Activity" on the Activities screen
  2. Choose the activity type (Sports, Arts, Academic, Social)
  3. Enter the activity details (name, date, time, location)
  4. Select which child this activity is for
  5. Save the activity

Using AI Image Capture

  1. Take a photo of your calendar or activity schedule
  2. Tap the camera icon in the app
  3. Upload the image
  4. Our AI will automatically extract activities and add them to your schedule
  5. Review and edit the extracted activities as needed

How do I reset my password?

If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it by:

  1. Going to the login screen
  2. Tapping "Forgot Password?"
  3. Entering your email address
  4. Checking your email for a reset link
  5. Following the link to create a new password
How do I delete my account?

To delete your account and all associated data:

  1. Go to Settings in the app
  2. Tap "Account Settings"
  3. Scroll down to "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision
  5. Enter your password to confirm

Note: This action cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted.

How does the AI image capture work?

Our AI image capture feature uses advanced computer vision to:

  • Analyze photos of calendars, schedules, or activity lists
  • Extract dates, times, locations, and activity names
  • Automatically create activities in your FamilyWise schedule
  • Allow you to review and edit the extracted information

The AI is trained to recognize various calendar formats and handwriting styles. Images are processed securely and are not permanently stored.

Is my family's data secure?

Yes, we take your family's privacy and security very seriously:

  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • We use enterprise-grade security infrastructure
  • Your data is never shared with third parties
  • We follow strict privacy policies and GDPR compliance
  • You have full control over your data and can delete it anytime

All your data syncs automatically across devices when you're signed in with the same account.

How do I get AI recommendations?

FamilyWise provides AI-powered recommendations based on:

  • Your children's ages and interests
  • Your family's activity patterns
  • Local weather and seasonal activities
  • Child development best practices

You'll see personalized suggestions in the Dashboard and when adding new activities. The more you use FamilyWise, the better the recommendations become!
